Mercantour blonde organic craft beer (33 cl)

cote-d-azur-craft-beerArtisanal Brewery: Brasserie du Comté du Haut Pays Niçois Bio, Edwards Dilly.

Located at the gates of the Mercantour Natural Park in the village of Saint Martin Vésubie, the Brasserie du Comté benefits from the water of a natural spring to brew its delicious beers according to the tradition of artisan brewers. Unlike most industrial beers, its beers are neither filtered nor sterilised so that you can appreciate all the aromas when you taste them.

The Blonde du Mercantour is a high-fermented lager with a fresh aroma and a cereal smell with dominant notes of hazelnut and a sweet bitterness that gradually builds up, balancing the whole.

The Organic White craft Beer of Mercantour (33 cl)

white-cote-d-azur-craft-beerArtisanal Brewery: Brasserie du Comté du Haut Pays Niçois Bio, Edwards Dilly.

To continue our tasting, we propose the Blanche du Mercantour, a high-fermentation white craft beer, which is a very elegant fruity and spicy beer. Its citrus notes and its surprising touch of bitterness give it a refreshing character.

It can be accompanied by a slice of lemon to highlight its fruity side.

The "Pâté qui fait rigoler", country duck and pork pâté finely flavoured with Armagnac (185 g)

cote-d-azur-pateArtisan: Mademoiselle Envoie du Pâté, Chrystel Larquier.

In the purest traditions of artisan manufacture, no colourings, preservatives or E-stuff are added to the preparations of our artisan who one day decided that she had to share yes or no the artisan know-how of her grandparents with the most greedy alike. The result is a delicious pâté, a funny name: a delicious appetizer in perspective!

Vegetable appetizer spread made with red peppers from the Grasse country (90 g)

cote-d-azur-spreadArtisan: Saveurs Provençales, ESAT La Bastide, Entreprise Sociale & Solidaire.

The surplus of local vegetable production, always grown in sustainable agriculture, is transformed into delicious preparations in this ESAT, which offers professional activities to nearly 200 disabled people, with the recipes of Angeline, an employee of the institution and passionate about Provencal cuisine.

Here is a little treat with Grasse red peppers to be savoured as an aperitif.

The typical "Rouille de Seiches" or "Seiches à la Sétoise" from the south of France, a dish cooked with pieces of cuttlefish accompanied by its spicy tomato sauce (400 g)

rouille-de-seichesArtisan: Au Bec Fin, Conserverie artisanale de Provence.

Rouille de Seiches is a typical recipe from the south of France, a tasty dish that combines cuttlefish pieces with a spicy tomato sauce, without colouring or binding agents. It will delight the taste buds of even the finest gourmets.

Reheat on low heat: you can accompany it with our delicious organic pasta or a rice timbale, steamed potato or polenta.

The traditional handmade dry pasta with organic eggs (250 g)

organic-traditional-pastaArtisan: Pasta Piemonte, Luisa et Riccardo Inversi, Créateurs des Raviolis au Citron de Menton.

Everyone knows Louise the owner in Menton (I saw it with my own eyes!) and more and more gourmets have become fans of the artisan pasta made by her family, which has never denied its Italian origins in the traditional, artisan approach to making its pasta using very high quality products from the Côte d'Azur - a work of art!

The famous 100% Natural and Organic IGP Menton Lemon Jam (220 g)

menton-lemon-jamArtisan: La Maison du Citron de Menton, Adrien Gannac.

At the gates of Italy, Menton overlooks the sea offering impressive panoramas. It is on these steep slopes that exceptional citrus fruits flourish. To withstand the cold, Menton IGP lemons are loaded with sugar and essential oil more than elsewhere.

This gives them a sweeter taste, more intense aromas and a moderate acidity that is found in the jams of our artisan who works the whole fruit, removing the seeds by hand, please!

A little jam delight whose fragrance will probably bewitch your taste buds for a long time...

4 calissons made with marzipan and candied fruit accompanied by 6 citrus fruit jellies from Côte d'Azur (115 g )

calissons-artisanauxArtisan: Confiserie Florian du Vieux Nice, confiserie et chocolaterie artisanale spécialiste des fruits confits et fleurs cristallisées.

The interior of the country of Nice offers many secrets, starting with the Florian Confectionery. You can stop at this magnificent setting for a complete visit or just a small tasting. They offer many typical Provençal delights so we had to make a small selection of the indispensable sweets of Provence – Just try it yourself!
